Part 2 : Bigger!
Next we are going to remove that unsighly seam-line down the middle of the image and then double the size of the image.
Zoom in a bit on the centre of the image. Now select the Clone Stamp Tool and start copying parts of the image from one side of the image to the other across the seam.
You may want to apply a bit of Healing Brush and a light touch of the Smudge Tool as well.
Don't worry too much about the seam: the final image will be moving and it doesn't notice unless its really obvious!
Applying the Clone Stamp tool: brush size 20px.
Now duplicate the layer.
Select the Move Tool on the copied layer to move it off to the left. Hold down the Shift Key to constrain vertical movement of the image and tap the Left-Arrow key. This moves the copied layer 10 pixels to the left.
Because this is a 400 pixels wide image, tapping the Left-Arrow key 40 times takes the copied layer to the very edge of the canvas. When the layer is just off the edge, stop!
Making sure the copied layer off-canvas is still selected, merge down by pressing Ctrl-E.
Move Tool still selected? You should now see an outline of the half of the full image that is not on the canvas extending off to the left.
The dotted lines show hidden parts of image not on the canvas.
