More About The Site Specification

So far we have the following criteria for our Mr. Orange web site:

• A showcase for the material already produced. Our only technical requirement is that more material will be added after the site is launched.
• The target audience being other individual animators, friends and family (this is a personal site, after all).
• Success being measured by "unsolicited" feedback. This includes other animators who will give feedback on the work and make constructive criticism.

Our next step is to assemble the content and put it into some sort of order.

The material consists of a number of still pictures and photographs, some completed short films, some looped animation clips (Gif animations) and a collection of notes and completed reports for a college course. Oh yes, and a collection of bookmarked web sites.

Luckily, all of this is on the computer and I won't have to assemble written notes, drawings and other bits which would have to be transcribed for use on the site. Even the storyboards have been scanned for the reports.

OK, we have the content and starting criteria. Lets see how this determines the layout of the web site.
