Site Specification Complete
We now have a full site specification, ready to start the next stage of our web design for Mr. Orange:
- A showcase for the material already produced.
- The target audience being other individual animators, friends and family.
- Success for the site is to be measured by "unsolicited" feedback. This includes other animators who will give feedback on the work and make constructive criticism.
- Appropriate sections for film, images and animation clips as per the site diagram.
- Additional pages for what's new, contacts, about the site, links and a site map.
- The site must be able to have new material added after it goes live. New content to be dated and sign-posted via the "What's New" page.
- A site search facility on every page.
- Each page to have a "context setting" telling visitors where they are on the site and give them pointers to where the content can be found.
- An "elastic" page layout, one that stretches and compresses within the available space but with limits.
- Meets recommended standards of web design and follows established good practice and conventions.
- A simple, clean site which "degrades" well if viewed in older browsers and is accessible to a wide range of visitors.
And done!
